He was predeceased by : his wife Katie; his son-in-law Mel; his granddaughters, April and Patty; and his great grandchild Shane.

He is survived by : his children, Shirley, Diane (Dave), Larry and Vic (Alice). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
