He was predeceased by : his son Ferdinand. He is survived by : his wife Helena; his son Hardy (Rose); his grandchildren, Samantha (Brian), Joshua (Emily) and Nyah; his son Edgar (Dixie); his grandchildren, Eston, Elijah and Ferdinands; and his children, Chelsey (Tim), Celleste (Jeremy) and Twila (Nick). He is also survived by 5 great grand children, stepmother, 11 siblings and many nieces and nephews.

The come and go viewing for Jake Unrau will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 12:00 p. m. to 2:00 p. m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., due to Covid restrictions only 5 people may enter at a time and social distancing protocols along with masks are still mandatory.
