She was predeceased by : her parents, Diedrich Thiessen and Susanna Thiessen; her husband Jacob Peters; her sons-in-law, Ed Loewen and Lawrence Reimer; and her grandchildren, Anna Reimer and Klass Reimer.

She is survived by : her former life partner Wilhelm Reddekopp; her sister Mary; and her children, Franz (Anna Peters), Agnes Reimer, Hein, Sara Peters, Susanna (Alvin Dueck), Jake (Lavina Peters), Rick (Tina Peters), Margaret Loewen, Edith (Jake Peters), Abe (Mary Peters), Neil (Marilyn Peters), Tina (Calvin Loewen) and Barrhead. She is also survived by her 41 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
