With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Unrau (Steinbach, Manitoba), who passed away on June 3, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter C. Hiebert and Katherina Bergen Champagne (Hiebert). She is survived by : her husband Ben Unrau; and her children, Willie, Frank (Helen), Pete (Tina), Lisa Toews (Herb), Anna Dueck (Wendel), Cornie (Tina), Tina Harder (Wendel) and Henry. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren, her seven siblings, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
