With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Funk of Steinbach, Manitoba, who passed away on April 22, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Aaron L. Friesen and Katherina Friesen (Loewen); her brother Ernie; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Friesen; her sister Anne; and her brother-in-law Henry Goertzen.

She is survived by : her sons, David (Becky) of Swift Current, SK, Jeremy (Judy) of Winnipeg, MB and Lindsay (Liane) of Sidney, BC; her grandchildren, Honey (Joe Martens), Jason (Meghan), Alixandra, Madeleine (Nicholas Kobilke), Clarey (Steven Hodge), Aron, Andrew and Vanna; her great grandchildren, Chase, Lincoln, Charmayne, Ava, Nora, Micah, Emily, Theodore and Lelyn; and her brother Lawrence Friesen (Bunny). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
