She was predeceased by : her parents, William Brodoway and Stella Brodoway of Vita, Manitoba.. She is survived by : her husband Ernie; her daughters, Leanne and Lynette; her son-in-law Ryan; her grandchildren, Katrina and Dean; and her sister Bernice.

Being separated from her family was hard for Marilyn, especially after the COVID restrictions were implemented.
