He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Eva Kehler; his children, Marilyn Rempel (Menno), Shirley Schroeder, Jim Peters (Sharon), Debra Reimer (Al), Lorraine Wiebe (Jake), Cliff Peters, Randy Peters (Ang) and Mona Wiebe (Trevor); his former life partner Elma (Toews); and his parents, Cornelius Peters and Agatha Peters. He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and their spouses, and 24 great grandchildren.
