She was predeceased by : her husband Peter D. Funk; her son Timothy; her granddaughter Jodi Lyn Ginter; and her great grandchild Sierra Funk. She is survived by : her daughters, Yvonne Inscho (Cliff) and Melinda Scheper (Dan); her daughter-in-law Karen (Russ); her sons, Ed (Lorna), Mel (Brenda) and Barry (Cherie); her grandchildren, Jody, Troy (Kendra), Jocelyn (Dave), Janelle (Greg), Shane (Mandy), Donnie (Amanda), Dean (Sara), Deanza (Daniel), Kameika, Tass (Jenni), Chereé (Lonny), Donavon (Kristy), Cole and Skylar; and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Hailey, Avri, Makayla, Gabrielle, Josée, Alexis, Mikkel, Kelaiah, Elli, Joseph, Jaleel, Mia, Brooke, Nicholas, Mercedez, Jayden, Ethan, Seth, Daxton, Huxley, London, Kasia, Merrek, Nevaeh, Zenadia, Kiara (Ryan), Rebecca, Selah, Scarlett, Tucker, Masyn and Leah. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M1). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Southland Church (190 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G 1M2).
