She was predeceased by : her husband René; her parents, Joseph Vandal (Bill) and Eleonore Vandal; and her sister Marie-Paule Courcelles. She is survived by : her children, Rachelle (Noël), Lise (Hubert) and Gérald (Jason); her grandchildren, Eric (Demi), Alain (Sylvie), Patrick, Josée, Miguel, Stéphane, Natalie, Julia and Benjamin; her great grandchildren, Renelle and Dominic; and her siblings, Aurise Andre (Roger), Andre Vandal (Olive), Robert Vandal (Carol) and Maurice Vandal (Annette). She is also survived by her in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Rolande to the Ste. Anne Hospital Fund.
