He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Pauls and Anna Pauls (Dueckman); his siblings, Elly, Irma, Helga, Irwin and John; his friend Hal Enns; his sister Mary; his children, Valorie Goossen (Paul), David (Jane), Waldemar (Nancy) and Frederic (Roxanne); and his wife Mary.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Birchwood Funeral Chapel (162 MB-52, Steinbach, MB R5G1Y1). Since holding a service for Mary was not possible after her passing in 2020 due to covid restrictions, a public service of remembrance and thanksgiving for both Rudy and Mary will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52 West, Steinbach, MB.
