He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Andy; his brothers, Jake and Frank; his half-sister Lizzie; his sisters, Tina, Helen and Anne; and his parents, Jacob Goertzen and Anna Goertzen of Osler.

He is survived by: his children, Henry, Laurie, Wesley, Evie and Lynn; his siblings, George and Frieda; and his daughter-in-law Margaret Friesen. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren.

The family is grateful to the staff at Gimli's Betel Home Foundation for caring for our father during his last months.
