He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley; his children, Shirlene (Julius Sr.), Roanna, Edgar (Maryann), Angie (Bryan) and April; his grandchildren, Mathieu (Brianne), Scott, Justin (Danielle), Timothy, Judith (Tom), Marika (Ben), Jennissa (Alex), Julius Jr., Caeley (Brian), Ruby, Edgar (Hope), Ysabella, Malikah, Micah, Abygail and Benjamyn; his great grandchildren, Chevelle, Max, Arya, Mathieu Jr., Noah, Sophie, Ethan, Emily, Jayden, Gavin, Olivia, Declan, Dawson, Ezra, Lorelai and Priscilla; his parents, Maria Bruce and Edgar Bruce Sr.; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Denis, Bernice, Marge, Anita, Andre (Marie), Shirley, Brian (Lorraine), Fred (Linda), Barbara (Edward), Armand (Maria), Germain (Loretta) and Gary. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Parish (433 Main St, Stonewall, MB R1A1T7).
