In the vast expanse of eternity, Matthew shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Matthew farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Christine (Mendez); his children, Isabelle, Jonah and AJ; his parents, Frank and Pat; his brother Brent (Erica); and his nephew Reed. He is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:30 PM at the Glen Eden Funeral Home (4477 Main St, West Saint Paul, MB R4A4A7). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery (4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3K1W3).
