She was predeceased by : her parents, Maurice Sanders and Gerarda Sanders; her brother Michel Sanders; her sister-in-law Dorothy Sanders; her niece Grace Griffith; her mother-in-law Germaine Demare; her siblings-in-law, Paul Demare and Doreen Demare; and her nephew David Demare.
She is survived by : her children, Michael (Ethel), Angela (Donald De Koninck) and Gerry (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven (Tierney), Alicia (Dan Yager), Sarah (Eric Bearden), Eric (Shayla), Theresa (Russell Legge), Robert De Koninck, Danielle (Alastair McKenty), Kristin (Sam Boyle), Geoffrey (Jessica), Meghan, Vanessa and Alexis; her great grandchildren, Theo, Oliver, Emmett, Isla, Quinn, Addison, Margot, Arthur, Avery, Daphne, Mason, Lucy and Dorothy; her siblings, Leon Sanders (Elise), Andre Sanders (Evelyn), Godelieve (Roger Vanwynsberghe), Gaston Sanders (Judy), Gerard Sanders, Marguerite (Gerard Raes) and George Sanders (Sheila); and also, Somerset, Michael and Gerry. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
