He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ashcroft and Jessie Ashcroft; and his father-in-law Joe Heiget. He is survived by: his wife Denise Ashcroft; his sons, Danton Ashcroft (Samantha) and Chandler Ashcroft (Megan); his granddaughters, Anabella, Kaliyah and Palmer; and his siblings, Jacquie Kozera (John), Bill Ashcroft (Betty) and Bob Ashcroft (Val). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Birchwood Cemetery (4 Ave N, Swan River, MB R0L1Z0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Community Foundation Box 1509 Swan River, MB R0L 1Z0, in Jim's memory.
