It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Wenzel (Swan River, Manitoba), who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Eisner and Tina Eisner of Minitonas; her husband Leonard Wenzel; her in-laws, Fred and Nettie Wenzel; her sister Freida; her brother-in-law Les Wheeler; her sister Amie Eisner; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Eisner and Terry Maki.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Lynne), Jason, Gerrad and Candace Hunter (Michael); her grandchildren, Sterling and Jett; her son Ronald (Laura); her grandson Anthony (Lisa); her children, Griffin, Wyatt, Isla, Quinn Machan, Jenna (Reise), Penelope and Olivia; and her siblings, Wilma Swenson (Barry), Martha Maki (Clive), Tina Keown (Jack), Irwin and Nick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A prayer was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Swan Valley Funeral Services (363 Kelsey Trail, Swan River, MB R0L1Z0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (4 Ave, Minitonas, MB R0L1G0).
