He was predeceased by : his siblings, Michael, John, Mary, Anna, Catherine and Kay; and his parents, Michael Yurkewich and Mary Yurkewich.

He is survived by : his wife Helena of Swan River; his stepson Wade of Poland; and his stepgrandchildren, David of Poland and Elizabeth of England. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
