He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Desjarlais and Alice Desjarlais; his brothers, Denis, Robert and Andrew Desjarlais; and his siblings' children, Helene, Jeralynne Boyer, Crystal Coutu and Clayton Coutu.
He is survived by: his siblings, Agathe, Benny and Margaret (Elie); and his aunt Maude McKay. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
