Benedict Yankech Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Benedict Yankech (Teulon, Manitoba) is shared. Benedict, born on July 13, 1957 in Gimli, Manitoba, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Benedict will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Benedict by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Benedict is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Benedict’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Steve, Anna, Emily (Les) and Elaine (Bert); and his parents, Gabriel and Petrina.
He is survived by: his brothers, Richard, Joe, Victor and John. He is also survived by spouses, many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church (5 Ave SE, Teulon, MB R0C3B0).
