She is survived by: her children, Debbie (George), Randy and Darrell (Angela); her grandchildren, Ashton, Randi, Tanner (Vanessa) and Chase (Hannah); her brother Bobby (Joyce); her sister-in-law Anita; her daughter-in-law Kathy; and her nephews, Kenny (Gail), Keith (Shirley), Robbie, Derek (Robert) and Mike (Jenna).
Dorothy worked as a switchboard operator at the Winnipeg General Hospital before becoming a doctor's secretary at the Manitoba Cancer Foundation.
