She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon; her parents, Michael and Frances; her siblings, Lorraine, Darlene, Betty, Helen, Andy, Bert and Anthony; her sister-in-law Elizabeth; and her nephews, Sheldon, Darryll and Brian.

She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Kim) and Jennifer (George); her grandchildren, Jada, Jacob, Eden and Eleena; her siblings, Jeannette (Richard), Sharon (David) and Leslie (Lydia); her siblings-in-law, Huguette, Marilyn, William and Albert; and her significant other Sabah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends.

In lieu of flowers, Irene requested that donations be made to the St. Francis Cemetery.
