She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvan Hawkins and Mary Hawkins; her siblings, Laura, Mable, Evelyne, Dorothy, Eleanor, Doreen and Jack; and her friend Bruce McGowan.

She is survived by: her sisters, Viola and Mary; her son Barry; her foster daughter Evelyn Laham; her grandchildren, Jen Holmstrom (Kris) and Greg (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Maddison Penniston, Millie, Poppy Holmstrom, Shirley, Don Campbell, Nancy McGowan and Steve Shier; her significant other Jim Davis; and her friends, Nancy McGowan, Don and Shirley Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, in Mom's name donations may be made to Palliative Care Manitoba, Alzheimer's Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
