Evan George Lounsbury Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Evan George Lounsbury of Treherne, Manitoba, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Evan left this world on June 1, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Evan had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Evan may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janice; his children, Shawna (Scott) and Drew (Joanna); his grandchildren, Caleb and Davin; his mother-in-law Evelyn; and his parents, Orville Lounsbury and Megan Lounsbury. He was also cherished by numerous brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Treherne United Church (168 Boyne St, Treherne, MB R0G2V0).
