Douglas Popowich Obituary

We announce the death of Douglas Popowich (Waterhen, Manitoba), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 72. Douglas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Popowich and Yvonne Trumbla; his stepfather Dave Trumbla; and his aunt Catherine Carriere. He is survived by: his wife Judy Berquist; his sons, Christopher (Sharon), Kevin (Rachelle) and Cameron (Karen); and his grandchildren, Austin, Aiden, Ava, Cole, Sawyer, Kennedy, Allie, Aubrey and Kacey.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Waterhen Community Centre.
