He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Spence and Mae Spence (Gislason); his niece Darlene Hiebert; and his brother-in-law Jake Hiebert. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Spence; his children, Galen Spence and Alanna Los; his son-in-law Jeremy Los; his granddaughters, Caleigh and Harper Los; his sister Audrey Hiebert; and his nephew Wayne Hiebert.
