With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darryl ROBERT Hayes (West Saint Paul, Manitoba), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2026 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his wife Annette; his parents, Alvin and Chickie; and his pet Bandit. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Margot, Theo, Eila and Blake; his brother Terry (Elaine); his nephews, Mitch and Alex; his sons, Kyle and Ryan; and his daughters-in-law, Caitlin, Meghan and Leeann.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at the Glen Eden Funeral Home and Cemetery (4477 Main St, West Saint Paul, MB R4A4A7).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darryl's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the HSC Foundation.

He was always so energetic, happy and full of knowledge that he would happily share. I have many fond memories of my time there with him. After he retired we kept in touch and he loved to be caught up on the latest. I will really miss those catch up phone calls. RIP old friend. You will be sorely missed and always in my thoughts.”
