She is survived by: her children, Susan Shears-Charles (John), Carol Bain (Ricky) and Carlyle; her stepdaughter Brenda Japal; her grandchildren, Nicole Hassan (Raheem), Shaquelle, Shayna Hibbert, Jody and Nate Bain; her great grandchildren, Khai, Zion and Ziggy; her brother George Thomas (Fregina Thomas); and her cousins, Allison and Jennifer.
