She is survived by: her spouse Lory Wayne Fraser; her children, Dillin (Tamara) and Tabitha (Chris); her grandchildren, Riley, Taylor, Sydney, Nikolas, Dakota, Mila and Brooklynn; her great grandchild Bennet; her mother Marion; her sister-in-law Debby (Ken); and her sisters, Doreen, Donna and Cheryl.

In lieu of flowers or food, donations may be made to the Concordia Foundation, specifically designated for Concordia Place, where Marlyis lived for approximately ten years and was treated with the utmost care, dignity, and respect, forming many meaningful friendships along the way. Alternatively, donations may be made to St. Boniface Hospital, specifically the Emergency Department, whose staff showed exceptional compassion and care throughout her stay, always making the family feel as though she was their only patient.
