We bid farewell to Victor Burtnyk (West Saint Paul, Manitoba), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 19, 2025 at the age of 98. Victor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline; his parents, Anna and Alexander; and his sisters, Alice, Helen and Sally.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra, Brenda (Maurizio) and Ellen; his grandchildren, Alex (Megan) and Melina; his brothers, Nestor, Eugene and Wayne; and his siblings-in-law, Bill and Jane. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Glen Eden Funeral Home (4477 Main St, West Saint Paul, MB R4A2A8).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golden West Centennial Lodge (811 School Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2Y 0S8) or to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (120 Donald Street #10, Winnipeg MB, R3C 4G2).
