It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Smith (West St Paul, Manitoba), who passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar and Edith; his stepmother Shirley; his brother Peter; and his parents-in-law, Ron and Edna Shipton.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his sons, Darren (Fatima) and Dean (Angela); his grandchildren, Michael, Alexis and Kayla; and his siblings, Geoff and Jean.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire a donation to the Naval Museum of Manitoba in David's memory would be greatly appreciated.
