She was predeceased by : her husband Gordon; her sisters, Anne and Ella; and her parents, Michael and Maria.

She is survived by : her daughter Karen McKenzie (Glen); and her grandson Collin McKenzie (Sylvie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
