He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Rupps and Karoline Rupps; his sisters, Ella Bobrowski and Melita Mueller; and his granddaughter Carrie Dawn Schick.

He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Kim Stephen, Jason Rupps (Kimberly) and Rod Rupps (Jocelyn); his grandchildren, Anthony Schick, Brennan, Blaise Borrer, Zoe Rupps and Kayleigh Borrer; his siblings, Ernie Rupps (Hanna) of Calgary and Pauline Meisner of Wpg; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hein. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
