He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham H. Friesen and Elizabeth Friesen. He is survived by: his wife Dora; his children, Darrell (Pat), Don (Colleen) and Brenda; and his grandchildren, Courtney Hutchison (Sandy), Mike Friesen (Ariel), Melissa Tunu (Abdul), Nic Friesen (Maria), Allison Reimer (Chris Bawden) and Nicole Waschuk (Ben). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
