He was predeceased by: his former wife Anna Neufeld; his wife Susana; and his stepchildren, David Thiessen and Mary Derksen (Dennis). He is also survived by two sisters and joins his five brothers and four sisters.

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Mennonite Church - Schanzenfeld (208 Hespeler Ave E, Schanzenfeld, MB R6W1K3).
