David Banman Obituary
David Banman, born on February 8, 1940, passed away on October 3, 2026. David leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Banman and Henry Banman; and his siblings, Jake and Leona. He is survived by: his brothers, Henry (Carol) of Pilot Mound and John (Shirley) of Winkler; his brother-in-law Pete of Vanderhoof, B. C.; and his nephew Jonathan B. C.. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews and 11 great-great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Homes Ltd. - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Mennonite Church - Winkler (1350 Pembina Ave, Winkler, MB R6W1E9).
