She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Heinrich Dueck and Helena Dueck; her husband Peter; her children, Helen Nickel of Winkler, Eva Nickel of Winkler, Mary (Abe Wall) of Winkler, Tina Nickel of Winkler, Peter (Agnes Nickel) and Henry (Betty Nickel); and her brother-in-law William Nickel. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in Eva's memory to Hope and Healing International.
