He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Hildebrand and Margaret Hildebrand; and his wife Esther. He is survived by: his son Robert of Winkler; his granddaughter Samantha Dyck (Henry) of Roland; his great grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica Dyck; his grandson Bradley Hildebrand (Jenna) of Gretna; his daughter Colleen Mantler (John) of Winnipeg; his sister Anne Fehr (Bill); and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hildebrand of Ontario, Martie Hildebrand of Alberta and Anne Evans. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Winkler Cemetery (1590 Pembina Ave W, Winkler, MB R6W1T4). A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church (252 6 St, Winkler, MB R6W4B2).
