She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram D. Klassen and Agatha Klassen; her siblings, Katie (Suderman), Irene and John; her brothers-in-law, Dave Suderman and Alvin Friesen; and her husband Henry Peters.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Peters-Watral (Wally Watral) and Connie (Sean Surcouf); her siblings, Hilda Fayle, Martha Friesen and Bert Klassen (Helen); and her daughter Helen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
