He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Klassen and Agatha Klassen (Unrau). He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn Defehr; and his children, Brian (Helen), John (Kathy), Shirley (Rick Neufeld), Brenda (Dave Heide), Linda (Shawn Wieler), Lori (Cornie Wall), Darlene (Darryl Thiessen) and Sandra. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two brothers.
Donations may be made in Jake's memory to the Boundary Trails Health Centre Foundation designated to Palliative Care.
