He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob J. Heide and Susanna Heide; his wife Mary; his son-in-law Abe; and his great grandchild Jonah.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary (Neil), Marge (Peter), Susan (Peter), Helen, Betty (Wes) and Connie (Pete). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
