She is survived by: her husband Jake Friesen; her children, Jake and Melonie Friesen (Stephane Godbout); her grandchildren, Alex and Diana; her great grandchild Amanda Friesen (Meftuh Ibrahim); and also, Aaisha, Aaliya, Tia and Hakeem. She is also survived by two sisters, three brothers.
