We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, Nettie (Unrau) Kroeker of Winkler, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nettie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nettie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tom Kroeker; and her parents, Abram Unrau and Katharina Unrau. She is survived by: her children, Laurence (Evelyn), Joyce (Walter) and Rosella (Ken). She is also survived by her youngest brother and four sisters-in-law.
Viewing was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiebe Funeral Home - Winkler (121 8 St, Winkler, MB R6W0M1). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Glencross Cemetery (7080 Rd 27W, Glencross, MB R6W0A8). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glencross Mennonite Church (7080 Rd 27W, Glencross, MB R6W0A8).
