She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Sawatzky and Aganetha Sawatzky; her husband Jake Derksen; and her siblings, Nettie, Katherine, Anne, Frieda and George.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene, Richard (Kathleen), Myron (Barb) and Raymond; her grandchildren, Caleb (Danica), Hannah, Audenne and Arielle; and her brother John.
