He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Margaret; his in-laws, George and Doris Henry; his brother Michael Lightfoot; his nephew Gregory Potocky; and his brother-in-law Vern Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Lynne of Portage; his children, Alana Leigh Moore (Shane) of Penhold, AB and David Lightfoot of Winnipeg; his sister Jaynie Potocky (Tim) of Abbotsford, BC; his granddaughters, Kaitlan and Kirstyn Moore; his great grandchildren, Eric and William; his mother-in-law Grace Tufford; his stepson Wayne Cleaver; his siblings-in-law, Linda Lightfoot, Sue Gudmundson (Bruce), Jo Ann Humiski (Danny), Jim Henry, Gerry Denslow (Jackie), Norman Denslow (Joanne) and William Denslow (Kelly-Lynn); his sibling's children, Kevin, Kyle, Grant, Matthew, Kristopher, Stefan, R. J., Kirstin, Carla Jane, Jana, Meaghan and Lauren; and his close friends, Mike Arnott and Kathy Shute. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
