He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Sarna and Annie Sarna; and his siblings, Rose Watson, Mary Bruck, Stella Pidek and Joe Sarna.
He is survived by: his children, Michele, Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Jason (Devin); his grandchildren, Alexandra and Cameron; his siblings, Ed Sarna, Pat Sarna (Val), Liz Dudeck (Bernie) and Louise Pukalo (Bill); and his wife Claire (Holy Ghost Church). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, numerous godchildren, in-laws, and dear friends.
A prayer will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R2W3V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (250 Burrin Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2V1E5).
