He was predeceased by: his parents, John F Toews and Susanna Toews; and his siblings, Kay, Peter, John and Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda; his daughters, Karen (Ray Mills) and Vicki (Dan Boyle); his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Matthew (Meagan) and Mikaela; his daughter Laura (Gregg Martin); and his grandchildren, Jamie and Paige.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Mennonite Church (922 Notre Dame Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E0M9).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian Mennonite University, St. Amant Centre or First Mennonite Church.
