Alex Turchyn Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2020, Alex Turchyn in Winnipeg, Manitoba, born in Birch River, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Mary; his siblings, Mike and Ann; his brother-in-law Walter Kupiak; his niece Diane Bannerman; and his son Ronnie.

He is survived by: his wife Verna; his daughter Marlene; his son-in-law Leo Kozak; his grandsons, Jeff (Maria), Derek (Candace) and Evan (Rebekah); his great grandchildren, Aidan and Kaylee; his aunt Jean Bilan; and his sister-in-law Sally Turchyn. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private service took place on December 4, 2020.
