Alma (McPherson) Barkman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 85, Alma (McPherson) Barkman (Winnipeg, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Barkman. She is survived by: her children, Lyle, Brent (Lis), Gae (Blair) and Glen (Gemma); her grandchildren, Ben (Hyera), Dan, Sky (Chelsea), Desirae, Quinn (Louise), Cole, Ellis, Max, Charlie, Lucy and Molly; and her great grandchildren, Rime and Sere.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bardal Funeral Home (843 Sherbrook St, Winnipeg, MB R3A1M6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christian Fellowship Chapel (465 Osborne St, Winnipeg, MB R3L2A4). A reception was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
