He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannette (Sénécal); his parents, Jean Durand and Albertine Durand; and his brothers, Armand and Charles Durand.
He is survived by: his children, Normand Durand (Shelly), Paulette Kosheluk (Garry) and Alice Roy (Robert); his grandchildren, Crystal Derworiz (Steve), Jonathan Durand, Carolyn Kosheluk, Mélanie Roy (Nicholas Van Seggelen), Carine Roy and Josée Roy; his great grandchildren, Aspen, Paxton Derworiz and Maëlle Van Seggelen; his sisters, Germaine and Georgette Durand; and his sister-in-law Suzanne Durand. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
