It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anka Marinic (Winnipeg, Manitoba), who passed away on February 9, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Devcic and Nicola Devcic; her husband Lovro Marinic; her parents-in-law, Lucia and Petar Marinic; her daughter-in-law Madeleine Marinic; her siblings, Ivan, Marko, Joso, Luka, Cilika, Dragica, Katica and Maria; and her siblings-in-law, Dragica Olujic and Martin Marincil.
She is survived by: her children, John Marinic (Georgette), Kathy Kostycz (Walter) and Jack Marinic (Joanne); her grandchildren, Peter Marinic (Janice), Jenifer Bellino (Joey), Michelle Magdic (Tomislav), Richard Kostycz (Leslie), Nicholas Marinic (Kally) and Andrew Marinic; her great grandchildren, Marko Marinic (Nadia), Madison Marinic (Matthew), Jaiden, Sarah Magdic, Michael, Ryan Bellino, Tyson and Brooklyn Kostycz; her brothers, Petar Devcic (Shirley), Zorica, Ksenja and Mathew Devcic; and her sisters-in-law, Nada Marincil, Zdenka Brnjas (Zeljko), Jeannie Lulic (Igor), Ivica Olujic (Marica), Vlado Olujic (Marijana) and Vilko Olujic (Andja).
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made in Anka's memory to the Holy Family nursing home or Cancer Care Manitoba.
